Why these verses?

Simply because the Word of God is the most beautiful and the most essential thing I could ever share.

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. Matthew 13:44-46

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

Jesus Christ is both the Son of God and God himself, being one of the Person of the Trinity : the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. John 1:1-4

The Word is another way to name Jesus Christ, who existed even before the world was created. God is a righteous Judge and we all are guilty before him. However, Jesus gave his life to the cross to redeem us from our sins. Since Jesus is God himself, his life has more value than all of the creation and his death is more than sufficient to redeem all of mankind. After three day God made him rise again, because it was impossible for death to hold him back.

God wants for us to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and to obey his Commands.

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

But before all: Ask the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness (another good way to pray is to pray God in the name of the Lord Jesus) for all of your sins. Name each one of them and ask Jesus Christ to forgive you, to save you and to live in your heart. He will forgive anything you regret and you turn away from. He will also answer your prayers and give you a new life.
